Family history research has been a long-standing passion of mine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, with extra time and a deep curiosity about where I come from, I took on a major side project: building a website to document and share the rich, surprising tapestry of my ancestry.

I discovered I’m descended from a baker, a leatherworker, and an organ tuner, among others. One of my ancestors was an animal rights activist, one was lost at sea, and one snuck liquor to Catholic nuns.

The website weaves these discoveries into a living narrative, combining timelines, vintage photographs, archival records, and bits of family lore. It’s designed to evolve as new stories surface, acting as both a digital archive and a personal tribute.
